Scope of this privacy policy
This policy explains the data handling of BPMFinder.online's current browser tools and informational pages. It distinguishes selected audio, temporary tool state, ordinary website traffic, and messages you choose to send by email. The site provides tempo estimation and music timing utilities without requiring an account or an audio-processing backend.
Questions about this policy can be sent to Contact@bpmfinder.online through the Contact page. Describe the relevant page and your concern without attaching private audio or unnecessary identifying information. If you want details about a particular hosting or email record, specify the approximate interaction so that the request can be understood.
Audio files are processed in your browser
Selecting an MP3 or WAV lets the browser read that chosen file for decoding, rhythmic analysis, and local playback. The application does not upload the audio or its filename to an analysis server. The file name and duration may be displayed on the tool page so that you can recognize the recording you selected.
The tool holds audio-related resources while you use it. Resetting the uploader or leaving the component releases its local playback reference and closes relevant audio resources. Browser memory management controls when memory is reclaimed; this is not a promise that every byte disappears immediately from every operating-system buffer.
The site does not store your selected recording in a user account, production database, browser local storage, or a remote song library. Your original file remains wherever you saved it on your device. Local analysis does not edit, rename, or delete that original recording.
Temporary state in the other tools
Tap Tempo uses the times of your recent taps to calculate an average beat interval. It does not activate a microphone or record surrounding sound. The current tap history belongs to the open tool session, and resets through the control or after the idle gap described on the page.
The metronome uses the tempo, meter, and volume you select to generate a browser audio click. The calculator uses your entered BPM to display note durations. Those tools do not require your name, location, or a music account. Their current controls do not create a saved profile or send a history of practice sessions to the site.
Website requests and hosting services
Opening a page necessarily sends a request to the service hosting the website. Requests may expose information such as an IP address, requested URL, browser headers, and time of access. Hosting infrastructure may use request information for delivery, reliability, diagnostics, security, or operational logging, according to its actual configuration.
This application has no interface for viewing or managing a hosting provider's logs. The existence and retention of infrastructure records depend on the deployed service and its settings, rather than on the browser audio analyzer. This policy does not assign an unverified retention period or claim that a visit leaves no network records. Contact us if you need information about the live deployment's handling of a particular request.
Cookies, assets, and tracking
The current application does not set analytics cookies, advertising trackers, or persistent browser storage for your audio. It does not require a tracking consent choice to run a tool. Fonts, illustrations, and other visual assets are served as part of the site instead of being fetched from a runtime font or stock-image service.
Your browser can cache ordinary page assets to load them more efficiently. That caching is different from the application storing an audio recording or creating an advertising profile. Browser extensions, your network, and any additional software on your device operate separately from this site and may have their own behavior or permissions.
Clipboard and email actions
When you choose a copy control, the application asks the browser to write the selected BPM or timing value to your clipboard. It does not read the other contents of your clipboard. Clipboard availability depends on your browser and permissions, and copied values may be available to other applications through your device's normal clipboard features.
The Contact form prepares an email draft addressed to Contact@bpmfinder.online. Text entered into the form stays in the page until you choose that action. Opening a draft passes the prepared text to your email application; it does not submit a message to this site's server. You decide whether to send the email.
Messages you choose to send
An email can contain your sender address, message, and any details or attachments you include. Your email provider and the recipient's email service handle that communication. Messages can be used to understand a question, investigate a reported issue, and reply to the sender. Sending email is separate from running the music tools without contacting us.
Correspondence and provider records may persist after the browser tool session ends. Their retention depends on mailbox handling, the purpose of the conversation, and applicable requirements. The site does not advertise a fixed deletion schedule that has not been verified. You can ask about a particular message or request deletion where applicable; identify it without sending more sensitive information than necessary.
Your choices and privacy questions
You can use the tools without supplying a contact email, stop a measurement, reset the uploader, or close the page. You can clear cached website data through your browser settings. These actions affect your browser session; they do not automatically erase an email already sent or an infrastructure log held separately.
Depending on the rules applicable to your situation, you may have rights concerning personal information, including access, correction, or deletion. Contact us to explain the request. We do not claim that every request has the same legal scope or that all data belongs to an application database, because the current application has no such database.
Links and policy changes
An external site or email service has its own data practices. Review its information before sending files or personal details there. Our Terms of Use and Disclaimer provide the companion explanations of responsible use and tool limitations.
If site features or deployment practices change, this policy should be updated to describe the actual handling. An account, analytics integration, or remote audio feature would require a different explanation; none is implied by the current tools. Read the published policy when you return and use Contact for questions about behavior you observe.
